Use EPLAN View Mobile to view project documentation from the EPLAN platform on your mobile device. You have direct access to the project and device information. Tedious and time-consuming searching in printed documentation is a thing of the past.
Get started
All projects that you publish with the EPLAN platform in the .epdz file format can be viewed in the app. To do so, select the Project > Publish menu items in the EPLAN platform and save the .epdz file in one of the project sources of the app.
With EPLAN View Mobile, you have all the information at your fingertips when troubleshooting or putting a new plant into operation - digital and mobile. An internet connection is only required to download the .epdz file.
Powerful functions
- Different project sources: local storage, Google Drive, SFTP
• In addition, you can open projects from the iOS files app “On my iPad” (available as of iOS 11). In this way it’s possible to use your local
network or cloud services as a project source.
- Representation of 2D schematics, 3D mounting layouts, and reports, including zoom, pan and rotation function
- Versatile navigation options: powerful search, jump functions, direct navigation via QR codes
- Satellite menu: Tap and hold a device in the schematic to open the menu
Current hardware and software requirements
- Tablet with a screen size of at least 8"
- iOS 9 or higher
The app is optimized to run on tablets. Currently, it’s not possible to install the app on smartphones because the layout is not designed for smaller screens. EPLAN evaluates the option to release the app for smartphones in the future. This process will, however, take some time.
